Electrical events are at their best when people can see, ask, compare, and connect around real solutions. That was the case during the 48th Annual National Convention of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers, also known as IIEE@48, held from 29 November to 2 December 2023.
Our team attended the convention and joined the booth with Eaton, engaging with visitors, electrical practitioners, engineers, and industry partners from across the Philippines. The event gave us a valuable chance to support Eaton’s presence and take part in conversations around safer, smarter, and more reliable power systems.

IIEE@48 brought the electrical community together
The IIEE Annual National Convention is one of the key gatherings for electrical professionals in the country. For four days, the event created space for learning, product discovery, technical exchange, and industry networking.
At IIEE@48, the energy on the floor came from the mix of people moving through the exhibits. Some were looking for product updates. Others wanted practical answers for projects, facilities, or system upgrades. Many were there to compare technologies and understand how current solutions fit into everyday electrical work.
For our team, being present meant more than attending. It meant listening closely to the needs of the industry and helping connect visitors with relevant Eaton solutions.
Our booth experience with Eaton
Joining the booth with Eaton gave us the opportunity to support product conversations in a direct and practical way. Visitors could ask questions, view displays, and discuss possible applications based on their own requirements.
The booth experience focused on topics that matter in the field:
Power reliability
Systems that help reduce downtime and support continuous operations.
Electrical safety
Solutions that support protection, control, and safer system management.
Energy management
Practical ways to monitor, manage, and improve power use.
Application support
Guidance on matching solutions to commercial, industrial, and facility needs.

Conversations that made the event meaningful
A strong booth is not only about displays. It is about the quality of conversations that happen around them.
During the convention, discussions covered real project concerns such as equipment selection, protection requirements, maintenance planning, and system performance. These exchanges helped visitors better understand how Eaton technologies may support different electrical environments.
They also helped our team gain a clearer view of what engineers and facility teams are prioritizing. Across many conversations, the same themes came up: dependable equipment, responsive support, and solutions that can adapt to changing site needs.
Why the event mattered for the industry
The convention showed how important face-to-face technical engagement remains. Product information can be shared online, but in-person discussions give room for follow-up questions, clearer explanations, and better context.
For nationwide electrical work, that matters. Projects across the Philippines vary by site condition, load requirement, operating environment, and maintenance practice. Events like IIEE@48 help bridge the gap between available technology and real-world application.
By joining Eaton at the booth, we were able to contribute to that exchange and strengthen our connection with the electrical community.
